Formerly known as Integrity Watch (IW), Africa Amani Institute (AAI) is a non-governmental organization registered in November 2006 in Tanzania.We strive to avail technical expertise, scientific evidence to generate critical thinking and policy dialogue between researchers, decision makers, practitioners and citizens on pressing development, peace and security matters facing Africa and the world in view of forging innovative, context specific and sustainable solutions.
We envision a secure, conflict - free, and prosperous Africa where all people experience welfare and stability, fostered by a deep - rooted culture of peace.
